His heart was nearly broken when his best friend and companion fell sick and he had to put her to sleep well before her time. I wanted so much for him to find another dog but he was not ready at the time we discussed it especially with his oldest daughter and her family moving in with them just at Christmas. But time has a way of moving on and Rusty began searching the papers for a dog that would suit his needs...he told me he was just looking to see what was “out there” when the time came. That was the first time I smiled since Bear died. Then he called and had me look at your website. He told me that you would keep his dog until he could move his family out and prepare a place for a puppy. I didn’t think that could happen but you proved me wrong and I want to thank you for what you have done for all of our family who love Rusty and know how much his heart was hurting, and then too, how it could begin to heal with another puppy to love and train. You are indeed a very special person and this world would be a better place it there were more people like you. I also want to thank you for allowing us to meet and hold Truffles on Christmas Eve. That was very special to me and to see the smile on Rusty’ face was Christmas gift enough for me. Thank you so much for your kindness and I look forward to meeting you again.

Hi Karen,
Just letting you know the female puppy we brought home July 4th is wonderful. Her name is Izzy and we couldn’t be happier with how she is doing. She is very sweet dog and already understands her basic commands. The kids love her and she has been a great addition to our home.
Thanks again

Karen,
Just wanted to let you know that Henley is
wonderful. We’ve had a lot of fun the last two
days introducing her to our yard and house
and some neighbors. She is playful, mellow,
curious and adventurous. The car ride home
was easy - she just sat on Charlotte’s lap as it
provided her with the best views in the car.
She did great in her crate last night (right next
to our bed), and the only times she whined was
when she needed to go outside (about every
three hours). No accidents thus far, either in
the car or in the house. Thank you so much.
We are so happy to have her as a member of
our family. She’s been sitting on my lap as I’ve
been writing this note - she is just so sweet.
I’ve attached a few photos.
